We strive for complete author satisfaction. Because our services involve personalized creative and technical labor, refund eligibility depends on project stage.

2. Refund Eligibility

Before Work Commences

If you request a refund before any work has started on your project, you are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid, minus any transaction fees incurred by our payment processors.

After Work Commences

Once work has commenced on your project (e.g., editorial review has started, design concepts have been created, or distribution setup has begun), refunds are provided on a pro-rata basis. The amount refunded will be based on the portion of the service that has not yet been completed, minus a processing fee.

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are strictly non-refundable:

• Third-party fees paid on your behalf (e.g., ISBN assignment fees, copyright registration fees, or distribution platform fees).
• Completed services that have been reviewed and approved by the author.
• Custom design work that has been finalized and delivered to the author.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please send an email to info@barnesandnoblepublicationshouse.com with your project details and the reason for your request. We will review your request and respond within 5–7 business days.

5. Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 10–14 business days and will be credited back to the original method of payment.
