Barnes Noble Book Publishing is an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Barnes & Noble, Inc. or Barnes & Noble Press.

3. Description of Services

We provide professional publishing support services, including but not limited to: editorial review, formatting, typesetting, cover design, distribution setup assistance, and marketing support. Our services are provided on a fee-for-service basis.

4. User Obligations & Ownership

Author Retention of Rights: Our authors retain all rights to their creative work.

Intellectual Property: You retain all ownership of your manuscript and published work. We do not claim any rights to your intellectual property.

5. Payment Terms

Fees for our services are outlined in our packages or provided in custom quotes. Payment is required as specified in your service agreement. We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barnes Noble Book Publishing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use our services.
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users of the services, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
